Coral Sea Waterworld Holiday Misery – Holiday Claims Bureau Takes Action

Coral Sea Waterworld Holiday Misery – Holiday Claims Bureau Takes Action

Holiday Claims Bureau is actively representing holidaymakers affected by illness following stays at Coral Sea Water World Resort in Egypt. We are handling cases arising from holidays during summer 2026 involving multiple clients who have been diagnosed with Salmonella and E. coli, while guest reviews raise concerns about food handling and hygiene.

The resort, in Nabq Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, has received TripAdvisor reviews describing dirty crockery, insects on food and concerns about food preparation. Some guests have also reported illness during their holidays.

We are supporting affected holidaymakers with their claims and encourage anyone who became unwell during a package holiday at Coral Sea Waterworld to contact our team.

Getting in touch is easy. Call 0161 813 2131, request a call back using our online contact form, or speak to our team via live chat or WhatsApp.

Guests Raise Concerns About Food and Hygiene

In a review relating to a May 2026 stay, a guest posting as squaredcubed27 alleged that plates and cutlery were dirty. They also claimed to have been served a prawn which they believed had been dropped on the floor.

The reviewer praised the cleaning staff responsible for their room, while expressing concerns about hygiene elsewhere in the hotel. In its response, dated 7 June 2026, management expressed regret that the stay had not met expectations, but did not specifically address the food-handling allegations.

Another guest, Amelia H, posted in September 2026 about a May 2026 stay, alleging insects on food and a lack of housekeeping assistance. Management responded that rooms were cleaned daily and that the comments had been shared with the relevant team for review and improvement.

Holidaymaker Reports Days of Illness

An earlier review, concerning a November 2025 stay, described illness affecting a couple during their holiday.

The reviewer, Kyle D, reported diarrhoea for six days of a seven-day stay and said his girlfriend had also been unwell for two days. He criticised food preparation and cleanliness in the dining area, reporting that they remained unwell after returning home. The review does not establish a medical diagnosis or confirm the source of their illness.

These accounts are individual guest allegations rather than independently verified findings. Other reviewers have praised the resort’s food and cleanliness and reported illness-free stays. Although we are handling cases involving clients with confirmed Salmonella and E. coli diagnoses following summer 2026 stays, the diagnoses alone do not establish where the infections were contracted or confirm a resort-wide outbreak.

Supporting Affected Holidaymakers

We are actively representing holidaymakers affected by illness following stays at Coral Sea Waterworld, including cases from summer 2026 involving multiple clients diagnosed with Salmonella and E. coli. Our work involves assessing medical evidence, the circumstances of each holiday and the evidence relevant to each claim. A diagnosis does not, by itself, establish the source of an infection.

Oliver Linton, legal representative at Holiday Claims Bureau commented:

“We are representing holidaymakers who became unwell following stays at Coral Sea Waterworld. Illness can take away a significant part of a much anticipated holiday, and some people continue to experience symptoms after returning home.

“The concerns described in guest reviews deserve careful examination, but each claim must be supported by evidence. We encourage anyone affected to retain their medical records, booking documents and any complaints made during their stay, and to contact us for advice.”

Successful Outcomes for Our Clients

Our published success stories demonstrate how we have helped clients secure compensation following holiday illness at other resorts and accommodation:

These are separate cases involving other parties. Every claim depends on its own evidence, and previous settlements do not determine the outcome or value of a Coral Sea Waterworld claim.

You can read more about the people we have helped on our success stories page.

What Should You Do If You Became Unwell?

If illness affected your stay, keep your booking confirmation, medical records, treatment receipts and copies of complaints made to the hotel or tour operator.

It is also helpful to record when symptoms began, how long they lasted and whether others in your party became unwell. Retain any photographs of food or hygiene concerns you personally observed.

If your illness was caused by a failure in the services provided as part of a package holiday, you may have grounds for a claim against the holiday organiser. Our team can assess your circumstances and explain your options.
