Iberostar Daiquiri Holiday Claims

Iberostar Daiquiri Cuban Hotel a Repeat Offender for the 2nd Year

Holiday Claims Bureau are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of British holidaymakers following a repeat outbreak of widespread holiday illness that has once again affected guests staying at the Iberostar Daiquiri hotel this Summer.

In September last year, over the course of 10 days, over 100 guests complained of illness to TUI and sought legal advice.

At Holiday Claims Bureau, we have spoken to many people whose holidays have been ruined due to food poisoning during their stay at the all-inclusive Ibeorstar Daiquiri and urge anyone else who has been affected to contact us on 0161 813 2131 or leave your details with us online to receive FREE expert advice and legal representation.

“Catastrophic” reports on TripAdvisor

Amongst the “terrible” reviews that have continued to pour onto TripAdvisor, one gentleman who was amongst the many who have fallen ill described his experience as “Catastrophic”, claiming “the pool was dirty”, “chefs didn’t wash their hands”, “most food was handled without gloves and with hands”, “the toilets were disgusting” and “most people got sick” during his stay in August this Summer.

Iberostar Daiquiri alleged to be on a ‘quality improvement plan’

Toni from Solihull said:

“Many many guests were poorly with differing ailments. I am incredibly well travelled and have never encountered such dreadful hygiene practices. I fully expected damage from the hurricane a year ago but not the standards we encountered, If you check out the FB Iberostar Daquiri page – there is now a letter from Thomas Cook which a lady has posted where they have admitted that the hotel has now been put on a ‘quality improvement plan’ due to the awful standards present at the moment”.

Have you had your holiday ruined due to illness at the Iberostar Daquiri hotel and thinking about making a claim?

If you have recently returned from the Iberostar Daquiri all-inclusive package holiday hotel and suffered a holiday illness during your stay, our team of highly recommended, expert holiday illness solicitors will help you to make a potential claim for compensation.

As with any claim for compensation, following the negligence of a package holiday hotel, it is important to record and provide your solicitor with as much evidence as possible to support your claim.

Here are 5 key examples of the different types of information your solicitor may require from you to help evidence your claim:

  • The contact name and details of the medical establishment you have attended, whilst in resort or upon your return to the UK
  • The contact name and details of any other members within your party who were ill. Or, details of any other holidaymakers you exchanged details with
  • A copy of the record, report or complaint you have made to the tour representative or operator you booked your holiday with
  • Copies of any photographic evidence you have taken of what you believe caused you to fall ill
  • Copies of any medical care, treatment and any other reasonable out of pocket expenses you have incurred due to the illness you have suffered

To avoid the chances of your claim being severely undercompensated, it is important to seek expert legal advice and representation from an expert holiday illness solicitor, particularly with tour operators recently offering pay-outs which in some cases, are being paid to holidaymakers for substantially less than they are legally entitled to.
